We would like to invite you to AMBERMART 2009, the 10th edition of the International Amber Fair. Honorary auspices over the event are held by Poland’s Minister of the Economy, the Marshal of the Pomeranian Region and the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk. Ambermart is organised in partnership with the International Amber Association, the KIGB Polish Commercial Chamber of Amber and the Pomeranian Craft Chamber of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises. 

AMBERMART opens the autumn exhibition season and enables trade visitors from abroad to replenish their stock following the summer season and especially for the December sales peak. More than 130 exhibitors from Poland and abroad have announced their participation in the Fair. AMBERMART 2008 had a footfall of over 3000, including trade visitors from 21 countries – representing wholesalers, retail chains, shops and galleries.

Ambermart’s scope covers silver and gold jewellery with amber, amber jewellery and objets d’art, coloured gemstones, souvenirs and applied art. The Fair will include the stand of the Amber Laboratory, where the Experts’ Committee of the International Amber Association can verify the authenticity of amber at the customers’ request. There is a complete ban on the sale of amber forgeries and surrogates at Ambermart, while pressed amber and fossil resins other that Baltic amber should be clearly labelled as such.
