Description of the World of Small Railway
This event supplements the exhibition programme with an important element which promotes railway not only among the professionals. Thanks to the partnership with the Polish Union of Model Railway and Railway Fans we have organised the Polish Railway Modelling Championships.
The displayed mock-ups, dioramas and models, not only the ones which are Championship entrees, are at a very high level both in terms of content, archival documentation and workmanship. A few dozen mock-ups, dioramas and many small models were presented on an area of 500 m2.
“The World of Small Railway” has become an important meeting point and a venue for the presentation of their output for modellers and railway fans, not only from Poland.
The biennial cycle of the Fair enables the preparation of exhibits for which it is the first opportunity of public presentation.
Mobile mock-ups and the possibility to meet their authors to exchange experiences are of particular interest.
Gang car races are a part of this event, and are meant to be a time for relaxation for the exhibitors, visitors, and media representatives.
