TRAKO FOR CHILDREN
For years TRAKO has been accompanied by the TRAKO FOR CHILDREN charity initiative for the Gdańsk hospice. This years, thanks to the generosity of the donors, the hospice will receive the funds to buy a telephone switchboard.
The funds were collected thanks to the efforts of the PKP Group and the MEDCOM, BOMBARDIER and SIEMENS companies .
The Father E. Dutkiewicz Hospice in Gdańsk takes care of 130 gravely ill persons, children and adults, every day. The Hospice’s staff and volunteers supportthe patients and their families by providing them with medical care, psychological, welfare, religious and spiritual support.The telephone switchboard purchased thanks to tonight’s charity drive will allow good communication between patients in home care and their families with the doctors and nurses.
You too can join the drive. During the Exhibitoirs' Reception( 14 October) there will be an auction of artwork by children who took part in the Train of the Future art competition and the entire proceeds from the auction will be donated to the hospice.
