Globe Forum Poland 2009"Business Innovation for Sustainable Growth"
The TECHNICON INNOVATION Fair 2009 will take place during the same period as Globe Forum Poland 2009. October 28th - 29th 2009
The prestigious Globe Forum conference has been organised annually in Stockholm since 2003. The first Globe Forum conference to be held outside of Sweden will take place in Gdańsk on October 28-29th, 2009. The patron of the event is the former President of Poland, Lech Wałęsa and the main media partner is Puls Biznesu. The forum acts as a platform to allow local and international participants such as Jean Lemierre, Maud Olofsson and Frank Appel to exchange ideas and views. Each year, Globe Forum welcomes delegates from the business world, innovation firms, international politicians, specialists from Europe, China, India and the USA, and many media representatives. Globe Forum in Gdańsk will focus on sustainability and innovation, with the overall theme “Business Innovation for Sustainable Growth”. Over the two days, delegates and speakers will address sustainable innovations in such industries as energy and renewable energy, logistics services, IT and finance and capital markets through panel discussions, theme sessions and individual meetings. During the Forum, Globe Awards will be presented in the field of sustainability. The nominees will be institutions and enterprises involved with sustainable innovation. The aim of these Awards is to support innovations, which are generating a favourable global economy based on sustainable development. The two categories for the Globe Awards in Poland are “Sustainability Innovation Award” and “Sustainable City Award”. We look forward to seeing you there!
